We’re not joking around! No pranks, no gags, no tricks! Dept. of Public Worms is hosting a Backyard Compost Workshop right in Isla Vista in partnership with the Santa Barbara County Resource Recovery & Waste Management Division.
When: April 1, 2016
Friday April 1 from 4 – 5 PM
Where: IV Food Co-Op
6575 Seville Road, Isla Vista, CA 93117
What’s it about?
Interactive workshop about composting at home in your back yard, and vermicomposting – what worms are all about and how they can reduce your waste. Learn about what all a compost pile needs, how to care for it, and how to use compost in your garden. The Dept. of Public Worms will be working alongside the County Dept. of Public Works to teach our community about alternative waste management for a cleaner community. Come by and see what we do to reduce UCSB’s waste footprint for over 20,000 students!
